Les Planches

Les Planches is built on the rocks on the coast road east of Sainte-Maxime, between Plage des Elephants and La Garonnette, and it is a restaurant first: a refined French kitchen with Mediterranean touches, served in a dining room and on panoramic terraces that look out over the gulf all year round. Between mid-June and mid-September it adds a private beach with loungers and parasols and runs a continuous service from breakfast through sushi and cocktails to late dinner. The list of extras is long for a place of this size: valet parking, a boatman service for guests arriving by sea, massages, a petanque court, a sunset DJ every evening in summer and themed nights on Fridays and Saturdays. Dogs are welcome. All reservations are taken by telephone only, and lounger rates are not published on the club's own site.
