Le 44

Le 44 is on Plage de la Garonnette, the easternmost beach of Sainte-Maxime just before the port of Les Issambres, which puts it well away from the crowds of the town centre and La Nartelle. The setting is deliberately calm: a private beach for a long lunch or a chic dinner rather than a party venue. The kitchen is run by chef Jonathan Roselier and built around a Mibrasa charcoal oven, with a sunny Mediterranean menu of fresh produce and a carefully chosen wine list; a snack bar covers the afternoon. Services include beach attendants, massages, a boutique, valet parking, a photographer and takeaway. The beach is supervised and accessible to reduced mobility.
