About this beach club
La Crique is in a small cove on the coast road east of La Garonnette, on the way out of Sainte-Maxime towards Les Issambres, with the water directly below the terrace and a free car park beside the road. The plot has been run as a beach restaurant since 2008 and traded for years as Kalmos K'fe before taking the La Crique name under new owners. Loungers and mattresses are set out on the small beach in front of the restaurant. This is a cove rather than a long strand, so it is quieter and more sheltered than the town beaches, and space is limited enough that booking is advised. The kitchen is Mediterranean and seafood-led, and the house speciality is a parrillada of shellfish. It opens at nine, closing early evening at the start of the week and late from Thursday to Sunday. Lounger rates are not published.
