About this beach club
Xiri Beach Bar sits on the sand of Ilha de Tavira, the barrier island in front of Tavira that is reached by passenger ferry. The setup is deliberately low key, with sun loungers and parasols along the beach line and a front row of shaded chill out huts that double as windbreaks. Guests are given a buzzer so drinks and food can be brought to the bed rather than collected from the bar. The food offer is light, covering filled sandwiches, fresh fruit and Portuguese pastries, alongside coffee, cocktails and sunset drinks. Massage treatments can be booked on the beach. The bar runs a boho styled look with DJ sessions in season and is closed on Mondays.
