Playa Soleil

Playa Soleil occupies a large central plot on Playa d'en Bossa and is built to work as several venues at once. On the sand there are around eighty sunbeds and fifty double Balinese daybeds laid out in rows deliberately kept clear of each other so nothing blocks the sea view. Behind them the site splits into distinct zones: a fine-dining room, a more casual all-day area, and two separate daybed sections with their own service. The beach here is the long, wide, fine-sand strip that runs most of the length of Bossa, with shallow warm water and a gently shelving bottom. The day follows a fixed arc - loungers from mid-morning, brunch, then lunch service from one o'clock - and on selected evenings the venue converts, with a dancefloor and DJ booths taking over as the light goes. That gives it an unusually long licence for a beach club, running well past midnight and later still on Saturdays. The season starts in April. Because Playa d'en Bossa faces east, the sun rises out of the sea here and sets behind the venue over the salt flats, so the evening appeal is the party rather than the view.
