Nassau Beach Club

Nassau holds a front-row position on Playa d'en Bossa, at the quieter southern end of Ibiza's longest beach, and it has been one of the island's most consistently photographed daytime addresses for years. The signature is physical: rows of teak sunbeds with white mattresses set right on the sand in the first line, close enough that you can walk from the bed into water that stays shallow and warm for a long way out. The sand on Bossa is fine and flat and the beach is wide, so even in August the front rows do not feel hemmed in. The kitchen positions itself as Mediterranean haute cuisine rather than beach food, and the cocktail list is treated as a signature in its own right. What separates Nassau from its neighbours is that it does not stop when the sun goes down. From late April the club opens at night as well, and the evening programme is built on recurring themed events: the long-running Full Moon parties, reworked with a new concept for this season, Flower Nights every Saturday, and a new Back to the 80s night on Thursdays, all starting around half past eight with tables bookable. The season starts unusually early, on 28 March.
