Le Cabanon

Le Cabanon is the simpler beach shack that shares an address with Le WYC at the western end of Plage de la Nartelle, on the site that used to trade as Le Petit Wyc. It is the kind of place locals use: an unfussy timber terrace on the sand, fresh fish and seafood from the grill, plus burgers, pizzas and poke bowls for anyone who wants something lighter, and a bar that makes proper cocktails. Loungers and parasols are set out on the sand directly in front of the restaurant. Prices sit well below the neighbouring beach clubs. It opens from ten in the morning, closing early evening most days and later on Friday and Saturday nights in summer. The shack publishes no website, season dates or lounger rates, so telephone to check what is on offer before you come.
