La Voile

La Voile is the private beach in the middle of Plage de la Nartelle that is built to look like a boat, and its large coloured sails are the landmark most people use to find their spot on this beach. Sun loungers, daybeds and mattresses are set out on the sand in front of the restaurant, with valet parking on the road behind. The kitchen is seafood-led: whole grilled fish such as sea bass and John Dory, slipper lobster and lobster pasta are the dishes it is known for, alongside a Mediterranean menu. Unusually for Sainte-Maxime the restaurant stays open all year, serving lunch and dinner daily in season and weekday lunches with a few dinners in the off-season, while the beach itself runs through the summer months. Lounger rates are not published online; the club takes reservations by telephone.
