About this beach club
La Reine Jeanne is at the eastern end of Plage de la Nartelle, the last of the private beaches before the sand gives way to the rocks, and it is the least dressed-up of them. It is a family-run beach restaurant rather than a club: deckchairs and parasols on the sand, tables with their feet in the sand or on the deck, and a menu built around fresh fish and Provencal cooking, with an aioli as the Friday dish and a tuna tataki that regulars come back for. Music stays in the background. The beach has a bar, showers, toilets and parking behind it, and takes card payment. It has no website of its own; the season runs from the start of April to the end of October according to its listing, and deckchair rates are not published, so telephone for a reservation and the current price.
