Beachouse Ibiza

Beachouse occupies the southern end of Playa d'en Bossa, the long flat sand strip below Ibiza Town, far enough from the noisy northern end that the atmosphere is different in kind rather than degree. The water off Bossa is shallow and warm and stays walkable a long way out, which is why families end up here rather than at the club-heavy stretch. The look is bohemian rather than white-and-chrome: driftwood, textiles, low seating, and a small souk-style boutique. The kitchen is more ambitious than the setting suggests, running Sicilian vine tomato salad, charcoal-grilled king crab with yuzu butter, Formentera lobster linguine and chilli-lime corn ribs, so it is a proper restaurant rather than a beach menu. Programming is what makes Beachouse distinctive. The day starts with beach yoga at half past nine, runs through sun loungers and lunch, and then the venue reinvents itself after dark: Moonlit Dinners on Friday and Saturday from seven, the BOHO experience on Thursdays, and LUNAR, a full-moon gathering staged once a month. There is a dedicated kids' offer, Little Beachouse, which is rare in Playa d'en Bossa. Doors open at ten every morning through the season.
