Abbronzatissima Beach Club

Lido di Noto is the coast road version of Noto, a short drive down from the baroque town centre to a run of sand along the SP59. Abbronzatissima occupies a two-storey timber chalet on that strip, which is the practical detail that shapes a visit: the upper floor puts the bar and restaurant above the sunbeds, so you eat looking over the umbrella rows to open water rather than at the back of someone's parasol. The beach is sand, kept groomed, and the umbrellas are set out with real distance between them rather than packed to the concession boundary. Access is unusually good by Sicilian standards, with ramps and slides down to the sand that work for wheelchairs and pushchairs alike, and the club leans into this as part of its offer rather than treating it as an afterthought. The kitchen is Sicilian and unfussy: seafood pasta courses, summer salads, panini and chilled aperitivi, served continuously from morning through to sunset rather than in fixed sittings. Entertainment is programmed for both adults and children during the day. It opens early, at a quarter to nine, and runs to eight in the evening, so a full day here is genuinely a full day.
