About this beach club
Rei das Praias sits on the sand at Praia dos Caneiros, a sheltered cove between Ferragudo and Carvoeiro. The business opened in 1976 and marked fifty years in July 2026 with a five day programme of events. The kitchen is built around fresh fish and regional seafood, and the dining terrace looks straight out over the bay. The location is a small enclosed beach framed by cliffs and rock stacks, which keeps the water calmer than on the open Atlantic beaches nearby. Access is by a road down into the cove with parking above. Reservations are handled by phone or email.
