O Bote Beach Bar sits on Praia de Carvoeiro, the cove beach that forms the centre of Carvoeiro village in the municipality of Lagoa. The beach is small and enclosed by rocky bluffs, with the village square and its cafes directly behind the sand. The bar serves drinks and light beach food. Because the cove is sheltered and shallow at the shoreline it draws a lot of families and gets busy in high season. Parking is limited and most visitors walk down from the village.
