La Rascasse (Havana Plage)

La Rascasse runs the private beach known as Havana Plage on the Promenade Simon-Loriere, the seafront of Sainte-Maxime's town-centre beach, a few minutes on foot from the port and the casino. It is the most convenient beach for anyone staying in the centre without a car. Deckchairs and mattresses can be hired by the half day or the full day, and the restaurant behind them works as a brasserie with continuous service: pizzas, pasta, composed salads, tapas boards and seafood, plus dishes such as fish en papillote and aioli. A covered terrace keeps lunch going on a windy day, and there is a children's area. In summer the beach has live music or a DJ on four evenings a week. Access for reduced mobility is provided. It is open from ten in the morning to ten at night; season dates and lounger rates are not published on its site.
