La Gaudina

La Gaudina is on the town-centre beach of Sainte-Maxime, on the avenue de Lattre de Tassigny that runs along the sand between the port and the Croisette, so it is within a short walk of the promenade, the shops and the market. It is a small, fashionable beach restaurant rather than a large club: wooden tables and chairs on the deck, light green and yellow loungers under white parasols on the sand in front, and a bar for cocktails. The kitchen is Mediterranean and seasonal with an emphasis on seafood, served at the table or with your feet in the sand. There are private toilets and free wifi. It runs from nine in the morning until late in the evening in season. La Gaudina has no website of its own and publishes neither its season dates nor its lounger rates, so telephone for a reservation and the current price.
