About this beach club

Hula Hula sits on the exposed rock shelf between Hvar town and the Podstine hotel, facing west across the water towards the Pakleni islands. There is no sand: guests take a mattress on the rock terraces or pay more for a lounger on the wooden deck built out over the sea. Food and drinks are served through the day from the bar behind the terraces. The venue is best known for its afternoon party, when a DJ plays to a full crowd on the rocks as the sun goes down, and it has been running this format for years. It is reached on foot along the coastal path from the town or by taxi boat. The bar has historically operated on cash, with a cash machine on site.
