About this beach club

Grand Africa Cafe & Beach is Cape Town's harbour beach club, built on an imported stretch of sand at Granger Bay with the Atlantic and Robben Island straight ahead. It is less about swimming, the Atlantic here is cold, and more about the classic Cape Town formula: feet in the sand, a long lunch from the restaurant, live music, and a sunset over the ocean with Table Mountain at your back. There is a kids area, wheelchair access and parking. The season runs opposite to Europe's, with the best months from November to March, which makes it a genuine winter-sun beach club for northern visitors.
