Eco del Mare

Eco del Mare occupies a private cove called Cala Maramozza on the Gulf of Poets, between Fiascherino and Lerici. The cove lies roughly 60 metres below the road and is reached by a lift, which is what makes the site usable at all. It was developed in the 1950s by Francois and Nicoletta Mozer on a previously inaccessible cliff and has since won the Bandiera Blu several times. The property combines the beach club, a restaurant and a Locanda with rooms, and describes its own style as shabby chic. Published daily rates start at 250 euro for a Beach Station covering an umbrella, sunbed, beanbag and two beach towels, from 350 euro with a regular cabin and from 550 euro with a deluxe cabin including services. Facilities include changing rooms, hot and cold showers, paid parking, a lifeguard and bar and restaurant service delivered on the beach. Opening is daily 10:00 to 19:00.
