Scorpios

Scorpios sits on a headland at Paraga on the south coast of Mykonos, about fifteen minutes from Mykonos Town, on a bit of coast that stays relatively sheltered when the meltemi is blowing. It was built to feel like a settlement rather than a club: stone terraces stepping down to the water, timber and rope, long communal tables under canvas, and a bazaar housed in a handwoven bedouin tent selling work by craftspeople. The kitchen cooks over wood and serves in the middle of the table, heavy on charred vegetables, grilled fish and mezze-style plates. What genuinely distinguishes it is the daily Sunset Ritual, which starts in the late afternoon and moves the crowd towards the sunset-facing terrace with live percussion and a shift in the music, before the DJs take the evening into deep and organic house. There is also a spa side, with treatments built around local botanicals. It does not take conventional sunbed reservations; access is managed as people arrive, so getting there by mid-afternoon matters if you want a bed on the main terrace. A minimum spend applies to some terrace areas at peak times. The season runs roughly late May to early October.
