Potato Head is the design landmark among Bali's beach clubs. The building curves around its saltwater pool as an amphitheatre faced with thousands of reclaimed antique shutters, opening onto Petitenget Beach in Seminyak. The club is as known for its sustainability work as for its parties: waste reduction is part of the operation, not a slogan on the menu. Days run from lounging at the pool and the beachfront lawn through to the sunset sessions the club made famous, with a restaurant and bars on site. Families are welcome and there is a kids area, which is less usual at clubs of this profile; the venue is also wheelchair accessible with parking available. Even by Seminyak standards it draws a crowd, so booking ahead for daybeds around sunset is sensible.
