Balneario Illetas

Balneario Illetas sits directly on the cove at Illetas, with pines behind the sand and terraces arranged so most tables keep a sea view. The building was designed by Mallorcan architect Francisco Casas Llompart and has since been fully renovated. The operation splits into a Mediterranean restaurant, a premium beach area with loungers and hammocks, and a chill out zone, and it draws families, couples and Palma residents rather than a party crowd. Guests arriving by private boat are brought ashore by tender and served on board arrangements. On Saturday early evenings the live session Arena en los zapatos brings soul, funk, disco and reggae to the terrace from 19:00 to 20:00, repeated on Tuesdays at midday. Loungers are in demand in the afternoon and booking ahead is advised. The same group also runs La Sardina in Illetas and Es Port in Puerto de Andratx.
