Villa Djunah Beach

Villa Djunah runs two things a short walk apart in Juan-les-Pins, and it is worth understanding which one you are booking. Djunah Beach is the daytime half: fine sand on the bay of Juan-les-Pins, sun loungers and VIP double beds out from ten in the morning until six, a lounge bar and a restaurant serving from midday. Djunah Gardens is the evening half, a rooftop and garden venue open Friday and Saturday nights from six until two in the morning, with DJ sets. The beach itself also runs into the evening from Sunday to Thursday, closing at midnight, and shuts its evening service on Friday and Saturday when the Gardens take over. The cooking is Mediterranean with a clear Middle Eastern pull, built on fresh produce and spice rather than the standard Riviera grill, and it is the same kitchen philosophy across both sites. An elegant dress code is enforced and reservations are required, so this is not a beach for wandering in off the promenade in board shorts. Practically, the valet parking is the detail that matters most: Juan-les-Pins in August is close to unparkable, and being able to hand over the keys at the door removes the worst part of the day. DJs play from Thursday through Sunday.
