Tambakio is on St Paul's Bay, the enclosed cove on the south side of the Lindos headland. The venue works as a seaside restaurant with a beach section attached, and the acropolis of Lindos sits directly above it. Beach waiter service runs from 10:00 to 17:00, bringing food and drink to the loungers. Sun loungers cannot be booked in advance, but a small number of cabana beds can be reserved by calling the venue. The kitchen serves Mediterranean dishes with a Greek wine list, and there is an all day bar for takeaway drinks. The bay is almost fully enclosed by rock, so the water stays calm. The venue lists daily opening from noon until late.
