The beach and pools of the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr sit directly across the water from the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, and that view is the reason to come: white marble domes rising behind the creek, best at sunset when the mosque lights come on. The setup is a classic hotel beach day in Abu Dhabi, with a maintained private stretch of sand, pool access and service to the loungers. There is a kids area and the beach is accessible for wheelchair users. It is a calmer, more polished alternative to the party-first clubs of the region, and it suits families and couples who want the view and the service without a DJ.
