Lido Circe

Lido Circe is the newest arrival on the Ispica coast, opened in August 2024 on the stretch between Santa Maria del Focallo and Punta Porto Ulisse in Sicily's far south-east. This is one of the island's great sand beaches: a long, dune-backed run of fine pale sand with shallow water and very little built development behind it, and the lido has been designed to sit lightly on it. The layout centres on a raised panoramic terrace above the umbrella lines, which is where the club does its best work, serving sunset aperitivi with a cocktail list, fresh fruit platters and small plates either on the terrace or carried down to the umbrellas. Beach service covers sunbeds, umbrellas and hot showers, with pedalos and SUP boards for hire and boat excursions along the coast. There is wifi, a bar and a TV area, and dedicated pathways make the beach reachable for wheelchair users. Games and organised events keep the days busy for anyone travelling with children. Only small dogs are admitted.
