The Lawn

The Lawn is exactly what its name says: a beachfront lawn at Batu Bolong in Canggu, pointed squarely at the sunset hour. A pool sits between the grass and the sand, bars keep the drinks moving, and live music runs as the light goes. It is less a full-service beach club than a perfectly placed evening: people arrive late afternoon, take a spot on the lawn or a daybed, and stay until after dark. Children and dogs are welcome, and there is a kids area and parking. In Canggu's crowded sunset economy this remains one of the most straightforwardly pleasant places to end the day.
