About this beach club

Sotavento Beach Club sits at Costa Calma on Fuerteventura's south-eastern coast, at the head of the long pale beaches the island is known for. It is a resort-style club with a kids area and wheelchair access, aimed at relaxed full days rather than DJ programming. Fuerteventura's appeal is the most reliable of the Canaries: steady warmth all year, big open sand, and Atlantic air, which makes this a working beach day in the middle of the European winter. The trade winds that shaped this coast are part of the deal; on breezy days the beach is at its most dramatic.
