Slatina Beach

Slatina takes its name from the stream that runs down to the sea at this point. The bathing area is built rather than natural: broad concrete platforms with steps and ladders into deep water, backed by cafes and a covered area that is used for events and concerts in summer. Sunbeds and parasols are available for a fee, alongside free space on the terraces. Because it sits directly on the main promenade and next to the town centre, it fills up faster than the smaller bays further along the Lungomare towards Ičići and Lovran. Opatija has a long swimming season by Adriatic standards because the bay is sheltered by Učka. No operator tariff is published, so no price is recorded.
