About this beach club
Shimmers sits directly on the Madinat Jumeirah private beach in Umm Suqeim, with the Burj Al Arab in view along the shoreline. It works as a beachfront restaurant rather than a full beach club with pools, and access to the sand is priced as a minimum spend per person rather than as a day pass. A higher minimum applies to the combined restaurant and beach dining format. Shisha is offered from midday until the early hours and is excluded from the minimum spend calculation. Alcohol is served under the resort licence. Separate from Shimmers, the Madinat Jumeirah resorts sell a pool and beach day pass at a higher rate that covers the wider resort beach and pools, which is the route for a full day of beach access rather than a meal.
