Papagayo sits on the seafront at Playa de las Américas and runs the full arc from beach club to night venue. Days are built around the pool and the terrace with a Mediterranean kitchen behind them; evenings bring DJs and live music as the same space turns into one of south Tenerife's better known nights out. Because the Canaries stay warm all year, this is one of the few places in Europe where a proper beach club day works in January. The club is wheelchair accessible, has parking, and takes both the food and the music side seriously; come for lunch and you can stay until well after dark without moving.
