About this beach club
One Fire sits on the Gavitella cove, the one stretch of the Amalfi Coast that faces west and therefore holds sunlight through the afternoon. There is no real beach, so the club is laid out over stepped platforms and rock terraces with ladders and steps into the water. Places are sold in tiers by row, from the front line at the water up to the rows further back. The site has trained lifeguards, showers, toilets and changing rooms, and a dock where private boats can come alongside. A shuttle service runs to and from Positano. A restaurant serves lunch and there is a cocktail bar, with a daily gathering in the late afternoon involving music and sliced watermelon that has become the club's signature. In winter the operation moves to a sister venue.
