About this beach club

Nortada is one of two restaurants that sit directly on the sand at Praia do Martinhal, on the sheltered eastern side of the Sagres peninsula. The building looks out over the beach on one side and a saltwater lagoon on the other. The menu is centred on fresh seafood and local dishes, with a bar attached. Toilets are available at the beachfront restaurants. Parasol and lounger rental on Martinhal runs during the official bathing season, roughly June to September. Martinhal is a shallow, wind protected bay used for watersports, which makes it one of the more family suited beaches in the far west of the Algarve.
