About this beach club

The beach is named after Saint Nicholas the Traveller, the patron of the village, whose statue stands on the pier at the edge of the beach. Its planting began in the 1930s when the local town embellishment society put in the line of pines that still shades the promenade. Nikolina has held a Blue Flag since 2006 and won the national Blue Flower award in 2008 as the best kept beach on the Croatian Adriatic. Facilities along the beach include bars and restaurants, changing cabins, showers, deckchairs, umbrellas and lavatories. The pebbles are fine and the entry into the water is gradual, which is why it is used mostly by families. The town centre, bus stop and harbour are all within a few minutes on foot.
