Michigen Beach Bar

Tucepi lies immediately southeast of Makarska under the Biokovo ridge and has the longest beach on the riviera, a continuous belt of fine pebble and sand backed by a shaded walking path. The bar keeps much of the original tree cover on its terrace, which gives shade in the middle of the day when the beach itself is exposed. It faces west across the channel towards Brac and Hvar and is used as a sunset spot. Sunbeds and umbrellas are hired on the beach in front from the beach concession rather than from the bar. The promenade continues without interruption to Makarska in one direction and Podgora in the other.
