Loulou Ramatuelle

Loulou Ramatuelle sits on the Chemin des Tamaris section of Pampelonne, set back from the water among tamarisk, lemon and olive trees, which gives the whole place more shade and more greenery than most of its neighbours. The beach outpost of the Loulou restaurant group, it runs a lighter, more design-led version of the Pampelonne formula: pale parasols, wooden loungers with proper mattresses, and full food and drink service brought out to your bed or cabana rather than only at table. The cooking is Mediterranean with an Italian lean, and the dishes people come back for are the sea bream carpaccio and the linguine with clams. It works on a strictly daytime schedule. The beach opens at eleven, lunch starts at half past twelve and rolls on through the afternoon, and there is no evening service, so this is a place for a long lunch and a swim rather than a night out. The season runs from April to October. Valet parking is available for arrivals by car, and boats can call the club directly on VHF channel 13 for a shuttle in from the anchorage. Facilities cover showers, wifi, massage, supervised swimming, water sports and step-free access.
