About this beach club
Lido Universo lies on the long sandy shore between Otranto and the Alimini lakes, a stretch backed by pine woods and dunes rather than by buildings. The beach is reached from the coast road and the lido runs a shuttle service between the parking area and the sand. Positions are laid out in umbrella rows and the site has wooden changing cabins and hot showers. Catering is handled by a bar and a restaurant on site. Free wifi is available, small dogs are allowed and there is step free access to the beach for guests with reduced mobility. The Alimini area is one of the calmer parts of the Otranto coast and is popular with families and with visitors staying in the nearby campsites. Opening hours published by the lido are 08:00 to 20:00 daily. No rate card was published.
