Lido Peter Pan

Lido Peter Pan has held its position on the Plaja at Castellammare del Golfo since 1995, on the long sandy arc curving west from the town's harbour towards the Zingaro reserve. The sand is soft, the entry into the water shallow and gradual, and the gulf sheltered enough that the surface is usually flat, which is what makes the club's watersports programme workable rather than theoretical. Kayaks, SUP boards and pedalos are available, windsurf courses run through the season, and there are beach volleyball and beach soccer courts marked out on the sand. An animation team keeps a schedule going, and there is a play area for younger children alongside a shaded relax zone, cabins, board games and a TV area for the hours nobody wants to be in the sun. The bar is well stocked and the restaurant sits directly on the sea, taking reservations by WhatsApp. The beach is accessible to visitors with disabilities and dogs are admitted.
