About this beach club

The Spiaggia della Chiaia runs along the western edge of Forio, a broad crescent of sand between the town and the sea, ending at the rock of the Torrione. Because the sand here is genuinely wide, the beach carries several licensed establishments alongside free stretches, and Lido F.lli Mattera is one of them. The arrangement is rows of umbrellas and sunbeds with attendant service. The beach faces west, so it gets the full afternoon sun and the sunset. Forio town, with its bars and shops, is directly behind, and the island bus stops nearby. Rates are seasonal and are handled at the point of booking rather than published.
