About this beach club
Punta Carena is the southwestern corner of Capri, marked by one of Italy's larger lighthouses, and it is the part of the island that gets the sunset. Lido del Faro is built into the rock below the lighthouse, with terraces of sunbeds and umbrellas, private cabins and a saltwater pool fitted with hydromassage jets. Access to the sea is by ladders from the rock rather than from a beach. A restaurant and snack bar operate through the day, with light lunches brought to the sunbed, and an adjoining lounge bar runs cocktails and music into the evening. The site holds Blue Flag certification and is reached from Anacapri by bus, taxi or scooter. Reservations are required and are handled through the club's website.
