Lakis is one of the beach bars operating along the long sandy shoreline that runs east from Rethymno through Platanes and Adelianos Kampos. This section of coast is divided between several operators, each managing its own block of sunbeds and umbrellas. Lakis handles a stretch of that beach and serves drinks and food directly to the seats. The beach here is sandy and shelves gently, and the wider Rethymno shoreline holds multiple Blue Flag awards. Water sports operators work along the same stretch.
