About this beach club

La Vela Beach Club has been on Viale Sergio Bernardini since 1982. The architecture is unusual for the area: a semicircular block of cabins facing the sea with a rotunda tent at the centre acting as the social space. The water sports offer is one of the strongest on this stretch, covering surf and SUP lessons, board rental, pedalos, canoes and a Kids Water Camp for children. The club claims the largest parking area in the area, with reserved spaces for season pass holders. Beach service runs 09:00 to 20:00 from May to October, and on Saturdays the bar and restaurant stay open until midnight, which is the only regular late service verified in Lido di Camaiore. There is a plastic free initiative with a water refill station at the bar. Prices are not published; figures circulating in third party reviews are not official rates.
