About this beach club

Kyano is on the sand at Platanias, the main resort strip west of Chania. The operator describes the venue as a fixture of the area over roughly thirty years, built around beachside dining rather than nightlife. Tables sit close enough to the shoreline that the sea is audible from the seating area, and sunset service is the busiest part of the day. The kitchen uses local produce in Cretan and Mediterranean dishes, and fresh fish is available on pre order only. There is an extensive wine list. The restaurant opens seasonally from the beginning of May until the end of the season.
