About this beach club

Rat is the wooded peninsula that shelters Cavtat on its northern side, and the path around it is a flat walk of about ten minutes from the town promenade. The cove itself is compact, backed by pine trees, with pebbles at the water line and rock platforms on either side. Showers, changing rooms and a kiosk selling water shoes are on site. Because the peninsula is a protected park area the surroundings stay green and there is no road access to the beach, everything arrives on foot. The water is clear and deepens gradually, and the cove is sheltered from the prevailing summer wind.
