Beach Bar Summer

Vela Luka lies at the head of a deep sheltered bay on the far side of the island from Korcula town, about an hour away by road. Bathing along the town shore is from concrete platforms and small pebble pockets rather than a continuous beach, and the bar serves that stretch. The bay is protected from all sides, so the water stays flat. The town is the arrival point for catamarans from Split and is the base for trips to the Proizd islet, which has the best known beaches in this part of the island. Service at the bar is drinks led.
