About this beach club
Sulic is a short walk from the Pile gate but is easy to miss, because the entry is down a stepped lane between the fortress and the harbour wall. The bar sits at the back of the cove and serves drinks to people swimming off the rocks and the small pebble strip. Because the cove is enclosed by high stone walls it falls into shade earlier in the afternoon than the open beaches. Facilities are limited and the space is small, so it does not work as a full day beach base for families. It is busiest in the late afternoon and evening.
