About this beach club

Bar do Guincho has been on Praia do Guincho since 1987, at Estrada do Abano 547 inside the Sintra Cascais natural park. Guincho is a large, exposed Atlantic beach known for strong wind and surf, so the rental offer includes windbreaks alongside the loungers, and a family package adds an extra large chair. The site has a restaurant and beach bar with an outdoor esplanade, a shop selling beachwear and sun protection, hot showers, toilets, lockers and a first aid point. Parking is unusually large for the coast, with room for around 500 vehicles. A sailing centre attached to the bar rents surf, windsurf and kitesurf equipment and gives lessons. Lifeguards patrol the beach in front. The venue trades year round, with a summer schedule of 09:00 to 21:00.
