Aquaselz Beach Club

San Leone is Agrigento's seaside district, a short drive down from the Valley of the Temples, and Aquaselz sits on the long golden-sand stretch along Lungomare Falcone Borsellino. It works as two things at once: a daytime beach spot on the sand, and an evening venue that keeps going until midnight. The kitchen operates under the name Lumera and leans on fish, with a cocktail list that gets as much attention as the food. Coffee and granita in the morning, a proper sit-down lunch, then aperitivo as the sun drops over the Strait of Sicily side of the coast. Prices at the bar are ordinary rather than resort-inflated, with most cocktails around six euros. The club also programmes live music nights through the summer and takes private bookings, so the mood swings between quiet lunch service and something closer to a party depending on the date. It is closed on Mondays, which catches people out. Worth knowing that this is an urban beach rather than a wild one: you are within walking distance of San Leone's bars and gelaterie, and the crowd is a mix of Agrigento locals and visitors basing themselves near the temples.
