About this beach club
Antisamos is a deep pebble bay backed by steep green hills on the east coast of Kefalonia, reached by a winding road from Sami. It is one of the best known beaches on the island, partly because it was used as a filming location for Captain Corelli's Mandolin. The bay is organised with sunbeds, umbrellas, a beach bar and water sports operators, and there is parking above the shore. The beach is white pebble rather than sand and the water drops away quickly, so it suits swimmers more than small children. There is no village at the beach itself, so everything runs from the beach concessions. No official website, telephone number or published tariff was found.
