Ambrela Beach

Verudela is the resort peninsula south of Pula where most of the city's hotel capacity sits, and Ambrela is its main family beach. The shore is pebble with a gentle shelving entry and a marked swimming zone, backed by pines that give shade through the middle of the day. Facilities include outdoor showers, public toilets, changing cabins, a lifeguard in season, and rental of umbrellas and deck chairs. Pedal boats can be hired and there is an inflatable aquapark in the bay. The approach is partly adapted for wheelchair users. The Ambrela restaurant and cafe lounge bar sits directly behind the beach. No official tariff for loungers is published by the operator, so no price is recorded here. Pula town centre with the Roman amphitheatre is around four kilometres away.
