AC Beach sits on Trapani's Lungomare Dante Alighieri, the town's own seafront rather than an out-of-town cove, which means you can walk to it from the historic centre and still get clear water with visible shoals of fish over the shallows. The character is sporty rather than languid. Permanent courts on the sand host beach volleyball, beach soccer and handball, and the club is used for regional Fipav Sicilia championship fixtures and international EBT tour tournaments, so on competition weekends there is a genuine crowd around the nets. Alongside that it runs canoe and pedalo rental, snorkelling off the shore and mermaiding sessions, and a GREST summer camp for children through June and July with a supervised play area. Facilities are the full set you would expect from an established Sicilian stabilimento: umbrellas and deck chairs, cabins, changing rooms, showers, lockers and safety deposit boxes, lifeguard cover and a first aid point, bike and scooter parking, disabled access and a designated area for dogs. Food is handled by several separate serving points across the site rather than one kitchen, covering breakfast through to dinner, and the Area 51 lounge bar takes over for sunset aperitivo and evening entertainment. Private hire is available for work dinners, birthdays and graduation parties.
